Lisa Finelli Fallon is the co-founder of Boston Cannabis Week, New England's first week of events dedicated to the professional cannabis community. Now in its fourth year the BCW continues to focus on education, health and wellness, art, music, networking, sports, fashion and cuisine. The mission of Boston Cannabis Week is to normalize the idea of cannabis in our communities, and their focus is to connect educators, entrepreneurs, industry leaders, community representatives, media, retailers and consumers in a unique, engaging and professional setting. Lisa is using her expertise in creating virtual and in-person experiences celebrating cannabis culture, community, academia and lifestyle in her role at BCW.  Joyce and Lisa talk about BCW’s origins, the great success it was in September, how to talk with kids about cannabis, and why people living in Massachusetts are called Bay Staters.Joyce gives a shout out to an  article from Marijuana Moment arguing that when cannabis is on a ballot it usually wins, which means it brings people out to vote. This November cannabis is on the ballot in Arkansas, Maryland, Missouri and both Dakotas, North and South. And, in Colorado psychedelics are on the ballot. This normalization is happening so let’s keep the movement going. To all our sophisticated stoner listeners, please vote. And if you’d like to support our mission of crushing the stigma around cannabis and caregivers please reach out to our team to learn more about TCMS sponsorship opportunities.Topics Discuss(1:15) Josh Lamkin Music(1:51) VOTE!(2:30) Cannabis and Voting Article(3:50) Cannabis Health Equity Movement(4:04) Thailand and Cannabis(4:20) TCMS Sponsorship Deck(4:36) Introduction Lisa Finelli Fallon(5:26) Boston Cannabis Week(6:38) Audiogram(7:20) Hard Rock Café Boston(7:52) Scott Bettano(8:15) Freedom Rally(10:55) Lisa’s Canna Story(14:45) BCW Origin Story(16:33) BCW 2022(17:02) Golf Event(18:47) Planning BCW 2022(19:23) Social Consumption Lounges(21:52) Attendees(23:31) Parenting Panels(24:50) Talking with Kids About Cannabis(28:28) Freedom to Choose(30:01) 2023 BCW Third Week In September(30:45) Connect on Linked-In or  Website or Facebook(32:00) Connect with Lisa The Canna Mom Show wants to thank:Josh Lamkin and Bella Jaffe for writing and performing TCMS theme music
