Joyce and Amie are in studio with the founder of Genus Viriditas, a cannabis business that helps curious people understand the modern-day cannabis industry. Kate Morgan is the CEO of Genus Viriditas and is launching Live Lilium on November 10, a brunch and cannabis event.  Kate has years of professional entrepreneurial success under her belt. She began to hatch the idea of Genus Viriditas after the town she and her family lived in shot down a proposal for a laboratory for medicinal cannabis. While cannabis was not something she had been experimenting with at the time, she had a friend who used it to alleviate pain during cancer treatment. As more states began to allow for recreational use, Kate found a role for cannabis in her lifestyle. Kate Morgan is passionate about using her voice to influence society’s opinion so professional women can enjoy and appreciate the many benefits of cannabis. Kate talks about her transition to cannabis entrepreneur and how she plans to engage professional women with cannabis in a way that is comfortable and fun. And, Joyce and Kate dish about how it feels to send their daughters off to college and what cannabis advice they shared before dropping their girls off at school.   Show Time-Stamps: 2:20: Kate’s Canna-Entrepreneur Story 3:50: High tech and cannabis 4:25: Genus Viriditas 5:04: Kind Weed 6:00: From Andover to Advocate 7:47: Cancer, Cannabis and Dispensary 9:40: Medical Dispensary vs Rec Dispensary 10:40: Liv Lillium introduces Brunch and Learn 11:50: Dosing 12:15: Cannabis and Conspiracy Theory 13:30: Making Cannabis and Education Fun 15:20: Brunch and Cannabis Dispensaries 16:15: Marketing and Branding in the Cannabis Industry 16:50: Filling the void with Guerilla Marketing 17:20: Partnerships in MA – Witchy Tours? 19:47: Finding guests and clients for brunch 20:18: Liv-Lilliium.com Live Lilium- november-event 22:15: Cannabis use at work 23:40: CBD vs Cannabis, relaxing shoulders vs. relaxing head 25:00: College age daughters and the Cannabis Conversation 25:45: 25 mg is NOT micro-dosing! less is more 28:15: cannabis and alcohol and proper dosing vs inebriation 30:15: Professional women and cannabis 30:40: Creating safe spaces to experiment 31:00: Girls night out! 31:55: Favorite way to consume, tinctures, chocolates and gummies 33:22: November 10 Brunch Launch  www.livelilium.com
